Fancy a unique experience? Are you the adventurous soul who likes to get back to basics or do you just enjoy sleeping in a real igloo hut? Our igloo hut for two is an absolute eye-catcher. Made entirely by hand from wood, with exterior covered with spruce slats and interior with aspen slats. Thanks to insulation, the heat stays inside, making the cabin resistant to cold Nordic (and Dutch) nights.

What to expect during your stay in the igloo:

  • Comfortable sitting area that you easily transform into a cozy double bed
  • Compact, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, kettle and coffee maker
  • A cozy and spacious terrace with a comfortable garden set, perfect for relaxing moments under the stars.

    Beautiful location in Drenthe, campground clearly needs an upgrade. Plumbing old and dishwashing area old. Everything needs upgrade. Camping spots good, just almost no water points and going to the toilet can be relatively far.

    The campsite is actually very nice - especially the pitches by the pond. And there's plenty of space for children, a nice playground and a small pool. If it weren't for the cramped sanitary facilities. 4 toilets, 2 showers (a bit few in total) right next to each other. And if someone takes a shower, you get your feet wet in the toilet. 4 washbasins are built in such a way that the person standing in front of them has the toilet or shower door right behind them. The showers are a pleasant size, but are often flooded. The friendly cleaner doesn't stand a chance. The access road is a bit narrow and large caravans and camper vans have problems.

    Der Campingplatz ist eigentlich sehr schön - vor allem die Stellplätze am Teich. Und für Kinder gibt es viel Platz, einen schönen Spielplatz und einen kleinen Pool. Wenn da nicht die engen Sanitäranlagen wären. 4 WCs, 2 Duschen (insgesamt etwas wenig) direkt nebeneinander. Und wenn jemand duscht, bekommt man auf dem WC nasse Füße. 4 Waschbecken sind so gebaut, dass diejenige, die davor steht, die WC -oder Duschtür gleich im Rücken hat. Die Duschen haben eine angenehme Größe, stehen aber oft unter Wasser. Da hat die freundliche Reinigungskraft keine Chance. Die Zufahrt ist etwas eng und große Gespanne und WoMos haben Probleme.

    Beautiful place where the campground is. The field by the pond was fine. I was with the caravan. Large places to stand. Quiet place. The toilet is far away. There are only 2 showers for the ladies. Are clean though. The administrators are friendly. The campground has overdue maintenance in the greenery and paths. Could be tighter and neater.

    Mooie plek waar de camping is. Het veld bij de vijver was prima. Ik was met de caravan. Grote plaatsen om te staan. Rustige plek. Het toilet is ver weg. Er zijn maar 2 douches voor de dames. Zijn wel schoon. De beheerders zijn vriendelijk. De camping heeft achterstallig onderhoud in het groen en paden. Kan wel wat strakker en netter.

    The campground is a small-scale campground where you immediately feel at home. For the children there is plenty to do.
